Abstract
Machining continues to be one of the fundamental pillars of modern manufacturing and a key driver of economic growth across industrialized and developing nations. As global competition intensifies and product requirements become increasingly stringent, continuous scientific investigation and technological innovation in machining processes have become essential. Advances in machine tool design, process modeling, sensing technologies, data-driven manufacturing, and intelligent control systems are transforming the capabilities of machining operations, enabling higher precision, improved efficiency, and enhanced sustainability.
