Abstract
It is a challenge to be a librarian in Turkey. The librarians spend their life to be able to explain what their profession is about to other people. In this paper, the challenges and the tragicomic issues faced and witnessed by librarians in Turkey were addressed. In addition, my own observations as a librarian having worked for many years in the field, and the experiences heard from veteran colleagues were shared.
