Abstract
This contribution discusses the recent rapprochement between Greece and Turkey, with a particular emphasis on the nature of the changes in Greek perceptions of Turkey. The changes in outlook as well as policy are considered against the historical background of Greek-Turkish relations. An attempt is made to project a realistic perspective on the basis of the progress achieved thus far in the process of rapprochement as well as the challenges that remain to be addressed.
