Abstract
This monograph analyzes the new drift toward a Presidential regime that does not possess checks and balances and therefore constitutes a form of authoritarianism in Turkey. How and why a large minority of the Turkish voters perceived such a potential development as devoid of problem and wholeheartedly supported it.
