The current study synthesises the literature on group learning and technology implementation and proposes an enhanced multilevel model of technology implementation. The study aims to contribute to the literature in four ways. First the cross-level link between group learning and technology implementation is established. Second another cross-level relationship between organisational climate and group learning is introduced. The third contribution is the introduction of a neglected antecedent of group learning namely the distribution of knowledge within the group. The last contribution is the addition of group level structural variables as the antecedent of the distribution of knowledge within the group.
