Abstract

Using Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) simulations, we demonstrate the effectiveness of a photonic nanojet emerging from an SiO2 sphere semi-immersed in SU-8 material under 365 nm plane wave illumination for scanning skin malignancies.
