Abstract

The number of enterprises trying to tackle societal challenges in Turkey is limited, both in terms of large corporations engaged in sustainable business practices and small social enterprises seeking to address community issues. There is also a lack of research, data and industry standards in this area in Turkey. This paper is a summary of the current challenges for social entrepreneurship in Turkey.
